You ever had one of those days where you just can't create worth a crap? I had one yesterday... I don't mean a day where you are just sort of mentally lazy, or the ideas won't flow... I mean one of those days where you toss 50+ drawings because a 2 year old could do better... one of those days where you question why you are doing this (or attempting to do this) for a living. It sucked to put it simply. I haven't had one that bad in a while. I guess they are there to help us appreciate the days where the ideas, creativity, and drawing skill just won't stop.

I took a teacher of mine's advice from my Ringling days... If you are out of ideas and nothing is coming out right... draw your way out of it. The other thought I had was a quote from Glenn Keane, Disney Animator Supreme... "I had an instructor when I first came to Disney Animation Studios. He said 'You all have at least 100,000 bad drawings in you... better get them out now' ". I am not an animator but it's still good advice as is my instructor's... now pardon me while I go get the crappy drawings out so I can get to the ones made of gold.
